BAIN, Ida Thompson - Putnam

BELLMORE – Mrs. Ida Bain, 92, died at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Ace Placid Nursing Home at Shelbyville. She was a member of the Portland Mills Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Bain. Surving are two sons, Paul Clifford and Herschel Bain, both of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Lenna Connelley of Anderson and Mrs. Ora McGaughey of Russellville; two brothers, Omar Thompson of Rockville and Arthur Thompson of Indianapolis, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Friday. Rev. Kenneth Greeley will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery at Hollandsburg. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today.  -– jlr
